The five figures were Grover Cleveland who was the 22nd & 24th President of the United States, William Henry Vanderbilt American businessman and philanthropist, Shelby M. Cullom who was an Illinois politician and became governor in 1876, then elected to the United States Senate in 1882 until 1913, Terence Powderly who was an American labor union leader and politician, and Frank Woolworth who was an American entrepreneur.
