Vintage Sterling Black Marcasite Brooch, Signed V, 2" by 1.75", It is signed with a V, marked sterling and Thailand. The black stone - likely glass appx. 38mm by 28mm oval with a hevy sterling bezel and a lower frame that has three rows of marcasites that are at a slight slant. The clasp has some wear - it is a slightly older locking clasp dating this more to 1960's-1970's or possibly earlier. It tests as sterling with a weight of appx. 21.10 gr. Light oxidation that will polish away. Good to very good condition. (W31123.1X1 SS10085 J LD 3/29/23).
