Vintage Sterling Silver Guilloche Butterfly Brooch, somewhat rare, signed V.B. for Volmer Bahner, Denmark. This is a pacific green color. It is a petite butterfly that is 3/5" wide and about 2/3" tall. It is 2.00 grams. It is in very good condition and signed V.B. sterling on the back. The pin back is a C heavy wire clasp and a pin that extends slightly beyond the pin - typical of late 1800 and early 1900 pieces and copied by some makers even after that time. The back has a light patina/tarnish that can be cleaned; however, I do not do that as many buyers have indicated a preference for leaving the items as is. This is a beauty from an estate sale where I picked up five guilloche pieces. See photos.
