New Towns.- [Kyle (David D.) & Henry Kerl.] Outline of a Proposed Plan for Building New Towns at Windsor and Eton; in order to completely improve the Castle and Parks, only edition, 2 folding lithographed plans with partial hand-colouring, offsetting, one with pin-holes to corners and small adhesion affecting a couple of letters and tiny part of plan, short tear to fold, some light marginal soiling, original cloth, rubbed, slight cockling to lower cover, rebacked, for Private Circulation Only, 1847.*** Rare proposal for the redevelopment of Windsor and Eton as new towns, designed on a grid system, together with realignment of the Royal Parks and incorporating a railway tunnel of about one mile under the Park and a new railway terminus in Windsor New Town.
