Description
Carl Simeon (First Nations Canadian, Kwakwaka'wakw, b. 1963) A hand carved decorative cedarwood and bark mask, an anthropomorphic face with a raven on the brow, the eye in profile inlaid with a nacre shell. The interior is signed in pencil "Carl Simeon Raven (indiscernible word) Mudge BC" and has a wire for suspension. Size of mask: 10" L x 7.5" W (25.4 cm x 19 cm); w/ bark tassels: 27" L (68.6 cm)
