Chinese Ming Dynasty XuanDe Blue and White Flower Porcelain Jade Pot Spring Vase. The vase potted in a Chinese traditional YuHuChun shape vessel, the pear shaped bottle, flaring mouth, a spherical abdomen, and a regular vessel shape. Its patterns on the surface are classic, simple, elegant and pretty. Hand painted ornamentations are rendered in white base color which contrast against blue color, depicted of abundant flowers bloom and foliage covered the surface. A characteristic heaped and piled effect, the under glaze greyish-blue concentrates in certain areas, bubbling through the surface of the glaze and turning a deep blue-black. This inadvertently gave texture, energy, and shading to the design.The Under-base bears a reign mark, a six under glazed blue script characters reign mark, enclosed within blue ring lines. Made in The Years XuanDe Reign Period of The Great Ming Dynasty.
