Description: A hand-carved Japanese red lacquer fountain pen, sculptural and impressive, depicting several types of flowers on the cap and bamboo and forest grass on the barrel. Balance-form, ball-ended pocket clip engraved with floral motifs and lacquered red. Signed (kanji unknown). Plunger-filler. 131mm. #4 unbranded gold-tone oval-vent, slight flex. Maker unknown, possibly Platinum. Good condition, captop cracked where the clip is mounted to the surface, plunger mechanism functions smoothly.***********************
