BIOGRAPHY:
Arling Gade (1919-2011) was a very productive Danish artist, who started painting when he was 12 years old. As a young artist, he had put up his paintings on a board fence trying to sell them to passers-by, until finally an American once came by and bought all of them. He paints many different scenes, but among his favorites are animals, farmers and children at play. Some of the most sought-after, however, are his paintings of female models.
