Description
1) This early flask measures 4 1/2" in length and just over 2” in width. It has a copper bag with a brass charger. The flask is decorated on one face with a spread-wing American eagle and shield over crossed pistols with stars and “COLT’S PATENT” above. CONDITION: flask has a dark copper patina. Charger functions well. 2) This flask measures 4 5/8” in length and 2” in width. It has a brass bag with a brass charger. The flask is decorated on both faces with a spread-wing American eagle and shield over crossed pistols with stars above. We suspect this flask is of later manufacture. CONDITION: flask shows very light wear overall, and the charger functions well. 3) This flask measures 3 7/8” in length and nearly 1 3/4” in width. It has a patinated copper bag with a brass charger. The flask is decorated on both faces with a spread-wing American eagle and shield over crossed pistols with stars above. CONDITION: flask shows very light wear overall. The charger does not function.
