WW1 British August 1917 Killed in Action Medal Pair Royal Berkshire Regiment, British War and Victory medals, “202377 PTE. C. EALES R. BERKS R.” Charles Eales served with 2/4th Battalion Royal Berkshire Regiment, his place of residence as listed as Broadmoor Asylum, Berkshire although we have not been able to confirm in what capacity he was in this establishment. He was and killed in action on 22nd August 1917 and is commemorated on the Tyne Cot Memorial, Belgium.
