RICHARDSON 21-LOND R.” Thomas Henry Richardson from Theydon Bois, Essex also served in 12th East Surrey Regiment and is also entitled to a Victory medal. He was wounded by a machine gun bullet in his right shoulder on 2nd September 1918, the bullet remaining in the wound; “41372 PTE. W.H. BRYAN MANCH. R.” William Henry Bryan also served in the Labour Corps (#32182); “6405 PTE A.J. MILES SUFF. R.” Alfred James Miles served with the 7th Battalion Suffolk Regiment and the Cambridgeshire Regiment (#290831) and “7405 PTE. C. SMITH R.S. FUS.” Charles Smith served in France with the 1st Battalion Royal Scots Fusiliers arriving on 14th August 1914 and was discharged unfit for further service due to wounds on 1st January 1915. (4 items)
