Two photo books from a historic home in Easton CT. The first a scrap book with family photos; and the second a CDV and Cabinet card photo with many family images including CDV of young girl with cat, a Masonic gentleman, a Civil War officer, etc. Most in good condition. Descended from the Reverend James Johnson family, Easton CT (Reverend Johnson, 1734-1810, graduate of Yale University). The Reverend Johnson homestead was constructed in 1760 and has been in the same family for over 7 generations. He was the first minister of the Congregational Church of Easton a position which he held for 40 years. The item(s) identified here, were once owned by the Reverend or a descendant.
