A Large Chinese Carved Ink Stone by Wang Xuwei with Wooden Box

20th century, ink stone is carved with a knobby plum tree, the branches curve over the block with full moon peeking out and an elegant dressed lady in winter fur lined coat standing beneath the tree to the lower right side, ink stone is inscribed to the reverse side, the artist Wang Xuwei is from a family of master carvers in Anhui province.
