Pre-Columbian, West Mexico, Jalisco, ca. 300 BCE to 300 CE. An exquisitely detailed pottery head of voluminous size, stone burnished and painted with red and orange pigment, displaying the visage of a woman tattooed with broad geometric bands across her face. Size: 4.625" L x 3.8" W x 7.25" H (11.7 cm x 9.7 cm x 18.4 cm)
