Description
Antique butter worker, late 19th century, with a oak basin and metal gear allowing the wooden separator to revolve around the basin, cast mark "SF 73 E" into the metal gear housing.

Approximate dimensions: h. 36", l. 43", w. 25.5"

Provenance: The Collection of Jerome and Bridget Dobson, Atlanta, GA.
Condition
The wooden carved separator rotates on a circular metal geared ring and operates but has a circular piece broken off the top that is present for re-welding. Has some damp staining on the feet.
