Dennis Hopper (May 17, 1936 – May 29, 2010) was an American actor, filmmaker, and artist. He is best known for his roles in several iconic films of the 20th century, including "Rebel Without a Cause," "Easy Rider," "Apocalypse Now," and "Blue Velvet." Hopper's career spanned over five decades, during which he appeared in numerous films, TV shows, and theater productions. He also directed several films, including "Easy Rider," "The Last Movie," and "Colors." In addition to his work in the entertainment industry, Hopper was also an accomplished artist, photographer, and art collector. He was known for his unique and unconventional approach to art and often incorporated his own personal experiences into his work. Hopper passed away on May 29, 2010, at the age of 74 due to complications from prostate cancer.
