USMC Named Officer Mameluke Dress Sword. Named to R.B. Eggers. Single edged, bright, slightly curved blade. Acid etched with name, USMC, and floral designs. Maker marked by N.S. Meyer on one side of the ricasso. Leather buffer pad present. Brass hilt with bone grip. Brown leather sword knot. Steel scabbard with decorated brass fittings and leather hanger. Brown leather carrying case.
