Knight's fifth studio album featured hits including the title track, which reached #4 Canadian Singles chart, and "Stay or Let It Go", and "6, 8, 12". The album peaked at #19 on the Canadian Top Albums chart and #1 on the R&B Albums chart. It also did very well in the U.S. and garnered McKnight a Grammy award nomination for Best R&B Album. By 2000 the album was certified Platinum by the CRIA for 80,000 copies sold.

Detailed Item Description: This is a CRIA Gold award that was manufactured in 1999, making it approx. 25 years old. It is presented to the artist himself.

It is in Excellent condition with only a very minor mar or two on its metal frame. It has its' original award manufacturer sticker on the back.

Notes on the condition of all vintage awards: Please do not buy this item if you want a brand new piece of memorabilia. These are historical artifacts from the year they were produced. As a result they may show signs of wear. Frankly, if you see a 20 to 50-year-old award purported to be in 100% perfect condition, it might be too good to be true. After all, an antique should have "good' wear. If not, you might want to question the piece.
