The plaque is titled "Minerva Presents the Personification of Painting to the Circle of Arts and Sciences - '' The Seven Liberal Arts''. To the left of the plaque is the goddess Minerva, patron of the arts, who gives her hand to Painting. To the center and the right are grouped the Liberal Arts: Grammar, Rhetoric (Philosophy), Geometry, Astronomy, Logic, Music. Superior to all there is the Religion, ready to reward them with the laurel crown those exercising in the underlying fields were distinguished service to the Church. In the background, there is a cityscape with an obelisk and a round temple, on the right a glimpse of trees. Size 14" W
