DOCUMENT: 1749 Indenture manuscript, American, Neff Family (spelled Neif on document) of Heidelberg Township, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, handwritten in iron gall ink on a single page of vellum (calfskin parchment) measuring approximately 12" x 20" inches, cursive text is dense but legible, the Neff family members have signed at the bottom along with witnesses, Justice of the Peace attested to it in 1759 & on October 22, 1760, Edward Shippen officially entered this deed transfer into the Lancaster County legal records, as noted and signed on the document’s verso side, document displays nicely with the original red wax seals mainly intact, framed such that both sides are visible, wear consistent with age and use with some expected toning and minor stains, overall: 15" h. x 23 1/4" w.
