April 2, 1720-Dated Early Colonial Era, American Manuscript Deed and Map Plot Document, Northumberland County Virginia, with integral Hand-drawn Map Plot, Fine.
Measures about 9.25" x 12", 1 page, docket on back. Being a Land Survey for 27 acres in Northumberland County, Virginia for William Sutton. After his death, "John Sutton his brot. presents this Survey & desires a Grant", John Coppedge, County Surveyor, who signs on the back, "Deed Granted". Some folds, with minor intersection splits old fold reinforcements on the reverse. Beautifully written with the plot survey drawn at top. Scarce per this early date.
