New York: Grove Press, Inc., 1959. First American edition, hardcover issue. Introduction by Jack Kerouac. Oblong quarto. 172 pages. Publisher's black cloth, spine lettered in gilt. Original illustrated dust jacket. In good condition, with some staining on the cover, jacket with tears and water stains, title page and introductory text detached from the text block but present.
