Item Details
Description
Dive into the depth of tribal artistry with this traditional man's shoulder purse from Timor, accompanied by three ornately beaded lime pots. Crafted before 1945, this ensemble showcases the intricate beadwork typical of Timor culture. The purse measures 5.5 x 5.5 inches with a cloth strap extending 32 inches, offering both aesthetic appeal and practical usage. The set includes three finely crafted lime pots, varying in size from 3 inches to 3.5 inches, each adorned with colorful glass beads. Please note there is some loss of glass beads, underscoring its vintage character and extensive use over the years. This collection is not just an acquisition but a piece of history, ideal for collectors of indigenous and tribal artifacts. For a detailed examination of its condition, please refer to the accompanying images.
