A Chinese jade necklace

Comprising a jade pendant carved with a double happiness character, fifteen interlocking jade rings, eleven coral beads, and twenty-eight jade beads.

L: 16 in. (L: 40.64 cm.)

Provenance: Private collection, Laurel, Maryland.

With loss to two jade beads and part of the clasp, remaining in overall good condition. Bead diameter: 11.11 mm (largest); Pendant measurements: H: 2 1/8, W: 2 1/2, D: 1/8 in. (H: 5.40, W: 6.35, D: 0.32 cm.)
