Pre-Columbian, Mexico to Costa Rica, ca. 300 to 1200 CE. A massive stone mortar with a hefty base and thick walls that rise over a shallow basin, all worn smooth from centuries of weathering and use. Size: 9.5" L x 10.5" W x 11.9" H (24.1 cm x 26.7 cm x 30.2 cm)
