Pre-Columbian, Northern Mexico, Chihuahua region, Casas Grandes culture, ca. 1100 to 1450 CE. A lovely circular bowl displaying alternating red and black triangles separated by a pair of parallel stripes that follow the zigzagging pattern - perhaps indicative of mountains. Size: 5.53" Diameter x 3.2" H (14 cm x 8.1 cm)
Provenance: private Reinsmoen collection, Clear Lake, Iowa, USA, acquired through descent from Robert Anderson, acquired prior to 2000
