THREE SOAPSTONE FIGURATIVE CARVINGS AND A SOAPSTONE 'BOYS' WASHER
17th /18th century
Comprising: a small creamy soapstone figure of a luohan; a larger figure of a seated luohan, fitted rootwood stand; a carved group depicting the He He twins; and a washer in the form of three boys encircling a well.
The tallest 10.5cm (4 1/8in) high. (5).

Condition
General old wear. Small chips and nibbles to extremities.
The smaller luohan - left hand restuck. Small chip to hem of robes and small patch to centre of head infilled.
The larger luohan - tip of thumb broken off.
The boys washer - a couple of pig tails broken off and some chips to extremities.
