YEAR OF CREATION: 1955
CONDITION: Good vintage condition, as is on the photo. Painting is unframed.
ABOUT THE ARTIST: Atlantov Volodymyr Mykolayovych – was born on 24th of October 1924 in the Pikov village, Vinnytsia region. He studied at the Lviv Institute of Applied and Decorative Arts, as well as at the Kyiv Art Institute. Mentors: Kasiyan V, Samusev F. Worked in the easel painting industry. Took part in the Second World War. Major works: "Spring" (1957), "Dawn over the Dnipro" (1958), "Komsomol patrol" (I960), "Evening" (1960), "Severe years" (1961), "Young years had passed" (1964), "Heated morning" (1965)," Reflections "(1967), sketch of the medal "For the defense of Kyiv" (1961) and others. Since 1957 he takes part in all-Union and foreign exhibitions. He was awarded twice with the Red Star medals and Diploma of the Presidium of the Verkhovna Rada of the Ukrainian SSR. Volodymir Nikolayevich died on 29 February 2000 in Kyiv.
