Description
[STEIN, GERTRUDE]
The Autobiography of Alice B. Toklas. New York: Harcourt Brace, [1933]. A stated second printing, October 1933, inscribed by Stein from Chicago in November 1934. Publisher's blue cloth stamped in silver, in original dust jacket. 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 inches (22 x 14 cm); 310 pp., illustrated with plates. Jacket with a gouge to the upper panel costing most of the word "The" in the title, other creases to extremities and small abrasions, light soiling visible in white areas, small losses at spine tips, a good example of a jacket prone to wear.
