Retired Tom Clark Hyke 2 Figurine. This was released in 1986 and is approx 7" x 7" x 10 1/2" and it weighs 4.87lbs. The figurine is in a good, vintage condition with signs of light wear. Please see the images as they are part of the description.

This was sculptured by America's premier sculptor Thomas F. Clark, Ph.D., of Cairn Studio, Ltd., Davidson, North Carolina. Dr. Clark is also the lead artist for Cairn Studio and is the most prolific sculptor in the figurine industry today. Each creation is hand-cast in a compound of resin medium and is individually hand-painted, antiqued, and highlighted.

"Hyke is the nickname of this old bachelor who lives on Cairn Ridge. He is quite an at ease on a log of poison ivy. His coat is Tyrolean and his leaf cap hides him when he jumps into a pile of leaves. He lives in an ancient tree, which is mostly hollow and is insulated with duck feathers. He feels there is nothing in the forest that cannot be put to good use. When he leans back and holds his knees, you know that a tale is about to begin."
