Lancashire, Duxbury.- Bond, Edward son of John de Coppull has received a bond "obligator[u]m simplex" from Nicholas de Bolton to deliver to Nicholas and Margaret his wife a tenement in Dothbury [Duxbury], 9 lines, indented at head, 63 x 262mm., 31st August 1308; Bury.- Power of attorney, John de Pylkynton [Pilkington] rector of the church of Bury and vicar of the chapel of Workeslegh [Worsley] appoint Robert de Standyssh our attorney, to give seisin to William son of Hugh de Standyssh of a tenement and with the gift and feoffment of Hugh de Standyssh, 5 lines, small tear in upper margin, lacks seal, slightly creased, 45 x 270mm.,4th August 1371, both manuscripts in Latin, on vellum, in brown ink, folds, slightly creased (2).
