Description
A 19thC kingwood Bonheur du jour surmounted by a brass gallery and having a profusely inlaid frame, with rosewood, walnut, fruitwood, satinwood and burr walnut marquetry decoration. The top having two doors opening to show a fitted shelf within. With gilt brass mounts to the cabinet top and mounted on the knees and feet of the four cabriole legs. The frieze of the cabinet having a brushing / writing slide with pineapple formed handles above an intricately inlaid frieze drawer. 32" wide x 21" deep x 52" high.
