[24], 227, [5] leaves, including blanks. Ca. 17th c. calf boards. ******** Begins with Ptolemy's planetary calendar. Adams lists this under Ptolemy's name and as a separate work, though this volume in its entirety this is the third volume from an early Aldine edition of Ovid's works.
Condition
Boards worn and dry, spine panel with 4 compartments chipped (three of which are laid in at front for restoration, and one of which is absent) leather lifting away, some tape stains, see photos. Initial leaves with some old staining along front margin, some light and faded water-stains to upper corners near end, mostly rather clean with just some light foxing or similar very minor blemishes in places. Former owner's bookplate to front pastedown (Archibald Freer.)
