This lot contains a handmade Fernandez Angulo, S.A Tapestry titled, "Musical Quintet". This tapestry is an exact reproduction of the original as it was conceived and woven by craftsman in the early fourteenth century. The theme of the musical quintet decorated Spanish family homes and castles. The scene depicts ladies, gentlemen and boys interpreting their respective roles in the pagentry of the garden celebration. The composition is as follows weft 100x100 wool, warp 100x100 cotton. It is approx 47" x 35" and weighs about 5.0lbs. The tapestry is in excellent used condition with no noticeable flaws. Includes wooden bars, hooks for hanging and a pamphlet detailing the work.
