Offered here for your consideration is a nice antique pair of black woolies. Although unmarked, they are an original pair, and while in good shape, you can tell they have been used (as evident of what appears to be a rope burn area on the upper right thigh). A great pair of older black wooly chaps for your collection!
Wooly chaps became popular in the late 1800's and remain highly collectible to this day. Originally they were designed to protect cowboys who worked in colder, wetter regions. However, because of their look, they were also popular with Wild West Show performers and became emblematic of the old west.
