The Hollywood connections bore fruit as the C Bar G became a Dude ranch hosting the likes of Carol Lombard, Dinah Shore, Joe Louis, and Alice Faye, and also a film set for early westerns. Disney Studios scored the movie, Fantasia at the Ranch there. Jeanne Godshall, the ranch owners’ daughter, was one of America’s most skilled and well known trick riders and performed all across America and in Europe. She was also a high fashion model. Many, many famous people from the golden age of Hollywood were associated with the ranch.
