Description
Available here for your consideration is a 1960s era wide ruins Navajo textile measuring 30" x 62". This textile features a great woven design of alternating geometric patterns and lines. These designs are done in earthy tones of yellow, tan, and brown, creating its classic Wide Ruins style. Wide Ruins regional textiles typically feature banded patterns rendered in vegetable dyes. Most Wide Ruins rugs are characterized by very fine, tightly-spun yarns, and a flat even weave. Designs often look like finely rendered, small-scale versions of Chinle and Modern Crystal rugs.
