GOFREDO SINIBALDI-PAOLUCCI (ITALIAN, 1866-1938) CAPRI STREET SCENE PAINTING, oil on canvas depicting an alley scene of women washing clothes under converging stucco arches, another woman hangs the wash to dry on a balcony over one of the arches. Signed, lower right "G. Sinibaldi / Capri". Exhibition tag reading "Exposizione Internazionale d'Arte / della Citta di Venesia - 1926" and artist's inscription "Vecchio Cortile," along with his signature, are retained verso. Retains likely original gilt frame. Italian. First quarter 20th century. 23" x 17 3/4" sight, 28" x 22 3/4" OA.

Condition
Very good condition, canvas having been relined and painting cleaned with possible minor restorations; frame with minor finish wear.
