Grouping of three Filipino Santo Figures. The first figure, St. Peter, dated 1975, is noted with an inscription in ink on the underside stating "Peter, Mindanao, Luzon, Philippines, Randy Bailey 6.14.75," and measures approximately 16" x 6" x 4 1/2". The second figure, San Isidro, features a label from the New Manila Importing Company, San Francisco, on its underside and stands about 12" x 3" x 3 3/4" including its base. The third, a white-faced figure, lacks any markings on its underside and measures 11 3/4" x 4" x 2". This item originates from the estate of John A. Williams, a distinguished philanthropist and renowned collector. Mr. Williams and his partner Dewitt Hart were influential members of San Francisco's art society and were celebrated for their discerning taste in modern, ethnographic, and fine art. Over the years, they hosted numerous exhibitions in their home, showcasing their prestigious collection to appreciative audiences. All proceeds of items from this estate benefit the Hart Williams Rainbow Fund, a nonprofit working with the LGBTQIA+ community in the San Francisco Bay Area.
