Description
Three (3) Ceramic Masks by Robert Brady (American, b.1946). Titles Unknown. Circa 1980. Modeled as a semi-abstracted heads with grotesque features; variously glazed in bright colors. Varying sizes (mask one measures appx: 13" x 12" x 3", mask two measures appx: 13" x 15" x 3", and mask three measures appx: 14" x 10" x 5 3/4". All signed and dated "Brady 80" on verso. This item originates from the estate of John A. Williams, a distinguished philanthropist and renowned collector. Mr. Williams and his partner Dewitt Hart were influential members of San Francisco's art society and were celebrated for their discerning taste in modern, ethnographic, and fine art. Over the years, they hosted numerous exhibitions in their home, showcasing their prestigious collection to appreciative audiences. All proceeds of items from this estate benefit the Hart Williams Rainbow Fund, a nonprofit working with the LGBTQIA+ community in the San Francisco Bay Area.
