Der hier auf dem Buchdeckel genannte Pierret war als Refendar am Rechnungshof und als Sekretär des Kommittees für den Wiederaufbau der Statue tätig. - Durchgehend stockfleckig. The copy is thus connected with the reconstruction of the equestrian statue of Henri IV on the Pont Neuf in Paris, which was destroyed in 1792.
