George II Figured Maple and Burl Walnut Bureau Cabinet

In two parts.

6 ft. 11 in. x 41 1/4 x 23 1/2 in.

Philip Guttridge, Cold Spring, NY, July 14, 2017.

Condition

In good, restored condition with minor age splits, veneer lifting and replacements throughout. Fitted with beveled mirror plates with oxidation. Minor staining to the shelves of the upper section. Water stains and obvious patches on the slant front. Nicks and wear to the writing surface with a slight warp. Wear is consistent with age and use. Rich patina and structurally sound.
