After Julien Causse (French, 1869-1914), "Abeille," French Figural Swinger Clock, c. 1900, the gridiron pendulum with blue polychromed globe time and strike clock, suspended from the hand of a female patinated spelter figure, raised on a red griotte marble base with brass artist plaque, title "Nymphe / par Causso" and marked "Fabrication Francaise" on the base, Overall- H.- 26 in., W.- 9 in., D.- 8 1/4 in.; Pendulum- H.- 24 1/2 in., Dia.- 4 in. Provenance: The Estate of Jay Calamia, property from the Dufour-Plassan House, New Orleans, Louisiana.
