Original David Lance Goines (1945) lithograph advertising poster titled Chez Panisse Red Haired Lady. This piece was printed in 1985 for restaurant Chez Panisse. Alice Waters hand signed this piece in black marker in the lower right corner. It is matted and framed under glass in a beautiful golden frame, and it measures 24.5 inches x 28 inches. This was acquired from a Metro Washington DC estate. In 2001, Gourmet magazine named Chez Panisse the Best Restaurant in America. From 2002 to 2008 it was ranked by Restaurant magazine as one of the top 50 restaurants in the world and was ranked number 12 in 2003. Michelin awarded the restaurant a one-star rating in its guide to San Francisco Bay Area dining from 2006 through 2009, but the restaurant lost its star in 2010.
