A large group of highly collectible tokens given in exchange for donations to the campaign in the form of wooden Christmas tree ornaments, small plastic soldiers, tin pins with German town shields, small metal insignia (‘Abziechn’), terra cotta character pins, white porcelain figurine pins, and more. These trinkets were produced during the Winter Relief annual drive to help finance charitable work providing fuel, food, clothing, and other necessities to the poor during the harsher months of the year. Our collection includes 20 wooden ornaments; seven metal badges; over 35 tin town shields; eight plastic military figures, over 35 terra cotta pins; 10 porcelain pins, and a few miscellaneous pieces. Some items bear wear or damage, but most are very good. A nice ‘instant collection’!
