Fantastic World War II era collectible, a German toy command vehicle, 8.5 x 3.5 in., with nine wooden toy soldiers, all nicely painted with precise detail to the uniforms. No maker marks. The vehicle is of metal construction and displays a nice dark green painted finish with a chain link track around the wheels. It displays excellent detail, marked on either side ‘Weight 9200 kg. Payload up to 9 people. Trailer load up to 7200 kg.’. Each soldier bears a metal stick pin underneath to hold them in place in the vehicle. The driver shows a few unfortunate breaks to the left arm and leg, though all the other soldiers are in very nice condition with only some wear to the paint on the faces. The wheels and track all operate. Very good.
