A fine grouping of four medals issued to Konstantin Ivanovich A fine grouping of four patriotic badges issued to Konstantin Ivanovich Davydenko, includes: two Orders of the Great Patriotic War, 2nd Class, war-time issued pieces numbered '469765' and '602779'; and two Orders of the Red Star, numbered '36561' and '3244767'. Together with the original award booklet, containing the numbers of these exact badges, dated 1945. The Decree of the Supreme Soviet Presidium of the USSR established the Order of the Patriotic War in two classes on May 20, 1942. Awarded to all soldiers in the Soviet armed forces, security troops, and partisans for heroic deeds during the German-Soviet War. It was the very first award instituted during the Great Patriotic War, and also the first Soviet order to have different class divisions of an award. Very rare, and number-matched group. All in excellent condition.
