Original Wehrmacht ‘Afrika’ cuff title, 14.5 x 1.25 in., of brown ‘camelhair’ fabric, embroidered with the title ‘Afrika’ between two palm trees, all in silver thread. The top and bottom edges are trimmed with silver thread piping. These cuff titles were awarded to survivors of the North Africa campaign, with the award being established in January of 1943. Shows fraying to the ends and thread at edge due to removing from a tunic, a bit of fraying edges on the reverse, else very good.
