SA sports badge, 2 in. diameter issued by the SA, the first Nazi paramilitary organization, between 1933 and 1945. At its center is a broad sword, superimposed over a Nazi swastika encircled by a wreath of oak leaves, with a pin on the back. Marked on the reverse by the maker Berg & Nolte A.G. WITH an NSRL Silver Sports Badge in cloth, 3 in. sq. machine embroidered cloth patch bearing the insignia of the National Socialist League of the Reich for Physical Exercise as well as the year of the competitions 1944. This is the cloth version of the same award. Two pieces, very good.
