Red cloth insignia issued to a Czech political prisoner held in a German concentration or forced labor camp. The 3.75 in. wide patch bears a stylized black 'T' for 'Tscheche', and it still bears a few tiny red threads from having been machine-sewn to a prisoner's garment. Very good. Red cloth is usually used to identify political prisoners, with a letter to indicate nationality; if the inmate was Jewish, it would be worn with a yellow cloth stripe.
